As a Web Developer on our team, your primary mission is to create intuitive, effectiveand accessible web interfaces. You will be responsible for the entire front-end lifecyclefrom initial concept to final implementation. You will collaborate closely with content curators and other team members to ensure the digital platforms you build deliver an optimal user experience for a global audience including support for multilingual content and different script directions.

Your daily work will involve transforming ideas into functional, well-designed web interfaces. Your responsibilities will require a blend of creative design thinking and technical proficiency.

Design and User Experience (UX)
In this part of your role, you will focus on the planning and design phases of development. Your goal is to create a clear blueprint for a positive and effective user journey.

Creates your workflows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes to effectively applied and conceptualize new product features.
Develops and implements interfaces, designs and UX patterns that are both functional and engaging.
Collaborates with a team of content curators to achieve optimal user experience ensuring design and content work in harmony.

Development and Implementation
This aspect of the role is where your technical skills bring the designs to life. You will build robust and responsive websites using a variety of web technologies.

Translates mockups and prototypes into functional WordPress themes or custom HTML, JavaScriptand CSS templates.
Works with multilingual websites and platformswhich may be presented in left-to-right or right-to-left scripts.
Conducts regular research and applies insights to make informed recommendations for product enhancement and technical improvements.

The Essential Qualifications and Security Requirements

This role requires a specific combination of technical skills, educationand the ability to obtain a high-level government security clearance.

Required Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s Degree is required; however, significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
1-3 years of professional web development experience is required.
You must possess proficiency in WordPress, HTMLand CSS with a working knowledge of JavaScript.
Familiarity with digital publishing platforms and content management systems (CMS) is essential.
Experience working with multilingual websites and/or platforms is a key requirement for this position.

Mandatory Security Clearance Requirements:
The sensitive nature of our work demands the highest level of security. All candidates must meet the following conditions without exception.

You must have an Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility as a minimum requirement.
Candidates who are accepted will be submitted for a full TS/SCI clearance.
This role is performed at a customer site in Tampa, FLand requires the ability to work nonstandard hours and be on-call for periods of time.
