Your day-to-day activities will be diverse, challenging and central to the financial health of your assigned business units. You will be entrusted with a wide range of critical tasks.

Financial Operations & Business Partnership

  • You will conduct in-depth cloud service analytics to understand cost drivers and performance metrics.
  • You will actively support the month-end close process ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
  • You will manage and analyze inventory finance and capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX) spending.
  • You will serve as a dedicated finance partner to engineering groups, assisting them with budgeting, forecasting and meticulous expense tracking and control.
  • You will collaborate directly with functional leaders and other finance teams to build robust, scalable financial processes and define key business metrics.

Strategic Analysis & Reporting

  • You will provide strategic financial and business analysis to senior site leaders including clear recommendations for cost-saving and process improvement.
  • You will lead strategic operational planning processes, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks and opportunities for the business.
  • You will write sophisticated systems queries using SQL to gather financial data from multiple sources.
  • You will perform advanced analysis using MS Excel, Cognos and Essbase to create reports, models and dashboards that tell the story behind the numbers.

Essential Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive and relevant finance experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is non-negotiable.

Additional Skills & Qualifications That Will Set You Apart:

  • You possess advanced analytical skills and a proven ability to work independently in rapidly changing, ambiguous environments.
  • You have demonstrated experience building and managing complex financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis and problem-solving.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Cognos and the ability to write SQL queries are strongly preferred.
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to comfortably present your findings to senior management.
  • You are adept at working with large volumes of complex data and distilling it into clear, concise insights.
  • You have a comprehensive knowledge of financial analysis, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and reconciliation.
  • Technical proficiency in Excel including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and advanced formulas, is essential.
  • You have a solid grasp of basic accounting principles including accruals, debits and credits.
  • Experience with other financial tools such as TM1, Priority, Coupa, Quicksight Dashboards or Nexus is a significant advantage.

Your Work Environment and Schedule

This role is based full-time in our Cupertino office, requiring a physical presence Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST. The work environment is exceptionally fast-paced and centers on cutting-edge projects in machine learning and AI.

You will be expected to work independently for much of your time with formal interactions with your manager typically occurring in weekly one-on-one meetings. The role also demands active collaboration with cross-functional teams including supply chain, IT and colleagues from different global regions. Please note that there may be occasional requirements to work on holidays if they coincide with the start or end of a monthly close cycle.

Compensation, Benefits and Contract Details

This is a contract position with a competitive hourly pay range of $45.00 to $53.00 per hour. The role is anticipated to close for applications on December 5, 2025.
