Rust Engineer Job – Cryptocurrency Finance

We have secured $26 million in funding from top-tier investors and are now looking for a skilled Rust Engineer to join our dedicated Accounting squad. This is a 100% remote role.

Help Build the Financial Infrastructure for the Crypto Economy

You will be a key player on our Accounting team, developing the core technology that powers complex financial calculations and reporting for the world’s most innovative crypto companies. You will tackle challenging problems involving cost basis, profit and loss, derivatives and high-volume data pipelines. Your work will form the backbone of regulatory compliance and audit readiness for the entire digital asset sector.

Your Key Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain core systems for our SaaS accounting platform using Rust.
Architect and optimize high-performance data solutions for financial reporting and ledger automation.
Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to deliver features that meet critical customer needs.
Identify and resolve complex performance and scalability issues in data-heavy environments.
Mentor other engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices.
Help document processes and improve the overall reliability of our codebase.

The Technology You Will Use

Your primary focus will be on Rust with an emphasis on building performance and scalability. You will also work with or have the opportunity to learn:

TypeScript and modern frameworks like Nest.js
OLAP databases such as ClickHouse
PostgreSQL
Cloud-native environments on AWS

What We Are Looking For in You

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience building and shipping production software.
Professional comfort with Rust and a strong desire to deepen your expertise.
Experience or a strong interest in working with large datasets and high-performance systems.
Clear communication skills in English and a collaborative team-oriented attitude.
An analytical problem-solving approach and a passion for building robust financial infrastructure.

Bonus Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Nest.js, Zodor Slonik.
Experience with OLAP databases like ClickHouse.
Curiosity about cryptocurrency and accounting domains.
Enjoyment in mentoring peers and sharing knowledge.
